Let Your Fingers Do the Talking

OK. I'm not sure what that headline means, but it's the title of a blog entry by Jamie Birch at Revenews. Jamie is the Affiliate Relations Director at Converseon, and a friend of mine.

Jamie's post has to do with a discussion he recently had with an affiliate, and an interesting question the affiliate asked. Here's what Jamie had to say:

I had an interesting conversation with an affiliate over dinner at the affiliate summit. We discussed overall affiliate issues, crm issues for affiliates and basic industry hot buttons. One question he posed to me was: “Do affiliate managers want to receive calls, emails or any communication from affiliates?”

CJU Registrations are Now Open!

I made it to my first CJU last year, and I found it to be educational, great for networking, and a whole lot of fun. Registrations for Commission Junction's CJU '06 are now open, but who knows for how long?!? Last year, registrations closed after 2-3 days! That's because CJU is held in Santa Barbara, where Commission Junction has it's headquarters. CJU is held at the largest venue in Santa Barbara, the Fess Parker Doubletree Resort. But... that still only allows for approximately 1/2 to 1/3 of the attendees who would eventually like to attend. Last year, I heard rumors of a HUGE waiting list.

In any case... I'm registered, and hope to meet a lot of Blair.com affiliates there!
